Oshawa Lady Blue Knights U-11 Field lacrosse team wins Provincial "A" Gold 

The Lady Blue Knights U-11 team started off the season in a hail storm on May 12th with a 7-6 win over Orillia and their season ended under sunny skies on July 20th in Oshawa with a Gold medal win!!! 

The girls headed in to the Provincial Championship week end games undefeated and on top of the "A" division.   After the round robin games they still had not lost and advanced to the"A"gold medal game vs Toronto Beaches.  

The gold medal game saw the Lady Blue Knights in the unusual position of trailing 4-0 but the determined group of girls pulled together as a team and fought back to capture the Gold Medal with a 7-5 win to complete their perfect season.

The 2013 U-11 team is the 4th straight Lady Blue Knight U-11 team to win the OWFL Provincial "A" Gold Medal.  

The U-11's are Coached by Jordi Loyst and Rachael McKinnon, Trainer- Leslie Cuddy and Manager- Kerry Kapuscinski
