LBK U15’s Win Gold with Team Ontario

Players Briaunna D’Andrade, Ella Hughes, Isabella Koppens, Maggie Cuddy and Aimee Evans, along with Head Coach, Chris Cuddy, and GM, Craig Hughes, won Gold playing in the U15 Festival at the National Tournament held in Calgary, from August 16 – 20.  

Team Ontario Women’s Lacrosse team had a great weekend in Calgary, starting with an awesome team building event in Canmore Alberta where the players participated in a rafting tour, saw some tremendous scenery and had fun as a team, as the team prepared for their upcoming competition.   The team went undefeated before going in the Finals versus the tough Team BC.   Team Ontario was up 7-2 at the half but Team BC turned in on in the 2nd half, tying it up with 1 minute left in the game 8-8.  Team Ontario demonstrated heart and determination getting the game winning goal with 30 seconds left…..winning 9-8!
